As usual, every saturday I would play basketball with my primary school classmate, Joshua. As we proceeded to the basketball court, we talked about school and the upcoming Chinese New Year. We roughly estimated the amount of Ang Pow money we would be getting. When we arrived at the basketball court, there were already quite some people shooting hoops and we joined in. After a few shots, we organised teams and started playing match. As one of our players was doing a lay-up, one of the oppostie team's player jumped up and attempted to block his shot but ended up slapping his face accidentally instead. He quickly apologized and said that it was not on purpose but our player was still fuming. He started shouting, "What do you think you're doing, huh?" All of us went forward to try and calm him down, after some words of advice from another player, both apologized to each other and we continued playing.
Actually, I think that we should be calm in all kinds of situations. If the other party is in the wrong, then think: He or she might not have offended you on purpose. If he or she apologizes, both parties should shake hands and make peace.
