It is 8pm in the evening now, I took bus 48 to Bugis Village for my guitar lesson. Although the lesson is at 9pm, I decided to be early as I wanted to jam for awhile in the studio before my guitar teacher arrived. When I arrived at Bugis Village, it was so crowded that I could hardly walk my normal pace. People were pushing each other, shouldering one another. After a slow 10 minutes walk, I finally reached the studio which is a storey above an arcade called "ESC Cyber Gaming". As I walked into the studio, there were already some people in other studios jamming away. I plucked in my Ipod Shuffle and electric guitar, turning up the volume to get the feel. I was jamming songs like: Miley Cyrus-See You Again, Simple Plan-Save You, Chris Daughtry-What About Now and Aly & AJ-Potential Breakup song etc. before my teacher arrived.
I enjoy playing the guitar as it relieves stress and at Bugis Village, you also get to hear different people's music, composed personally by people all around you. You never know when you're walking past a musician. A musician might not be know, for example Simple Plan, Avril Lavigne etc.. A musician can be anyone, it can be you too! You can compose your own music, take up and instrument and start jamming away! So,
Love Music, Let Music Love You!

My friend told me about this newspaper article thus I decided to go and read it and at the same time share it online again.
He spent whole night upside down
Student pilot rescued from Johor plane crash after 24 hours
Only 48 hours ago, Mr Sanjay Purosottam's life was literally hanging in the balance, precariously on the branch of a tree on a jungle hillslope in Gunung Pulai.
The 40-year-old member of the Elite Flying Club had crashed his Cessna 152 aircraft, which he had been piloting solo that morning, sometime after 10.15am.
According to reports, Mr Sanjay then hung upside down in his cockpit for almost 24 hours, before the Singapore permanent resident was rescued early yesterday morning.
But rescuers, who had been unable to get to him until daybreak, kept talking to Mr Sanjay all night to keep him awake and make sure that he was still okay.
However, due to strong winds, the pilot obtained permission from the Department of Civil Aviation to return, only to lose contact with the Senai air traffic control tower at 10.15am.
The wreckage of his plane was only found seven hours later, at around 4.30pm.
About 60 personnel from Johor Bahru's Fire and Rescue Department and the General Operations Force (Malaysian police's paramilitary wing) were sent to rescue him.
But they were unable to free him immediately from the wreckage due to poor visibility and the precarious position of the plane.
Finally, at about 7am yesterday, Mr Sanjay was airlifted from the scene by a Fire and Rescue Department helicopter to the Sultan Ismail International Airport in Senai before an ambulance took him to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital.

As usual, every saturday I would play basketball with my primary school classmate, Joshua. As we proceeded to the basketball court, we talked about school and the upcoming Chinese New Year. We roughly estimated the amount of Ang Pow money we would be getting. When we arrived at the basketball court, there were already quite some people shooting hoops and we joined in. After a few shots, we organised teams and started playing match. As one of our players was doing a lay-up, one of the oppostie team's player jumped up and attempted to block his shot but ended up slapping his face accidentally instead. He quickly apologized and said that it was not on purpose but our player was still fuming. He started shouting, "What do you think you're doing, huh?" All of us went forward to try and calm him down, after some words of advice from another player, both apologized to each other and we continued playing.
Actually, I think that we should be calm in all kinds of situations. If the other party is in the wrong, then think: He or she might not have offended you on purpose. If he or she apologizes, both parties should shake hands and make peace.

As I walked by the provision shop a few blocks away from my house, the headline of 'The New Paper' caught my eye. It said, "Perfect dad; Sex Monster", therefore i decided to share it online. Here is a summary of it by me...
Madam Annie married Joe because she thought that he was the perfect father for her kids. Joe was strict with her kids and did not allow them to mix freely with other boys. Unknown to Madam Annie, Joe had been preying on his young stepdaughters, Jane, then 13 and Jenny, then 11. The sexual abuse made Jane pregnant and Joe arranged for her to have an abortion in 2007. The terrible truth emerged last June while Madam Annie was cleaning Jane's room. She saw a letter from a hospital that showed the results of a pregnancy test and mentioned that an abortion had been performed on her daughter. She kept the letter and asked Jenny about it the next day. To her horror, Jenny started crying and told her that Joe had been raping her and Jane for some time. At first Madam Annie was shocked and speechless then she became very angry. Joe also threw tantrums and hit her or the children. Madam Annie did not report her husband's abuse because she was not injured and believed that he would change his ways. Then, Madam Annie could not stand it anymore. She lodged a police report soon after and Joe was arrested the next day. "I told him, 'Your life may be ruined but my four daughters' lives had been ruined more severely than yours'. I gave him a piece of my mind so much so that the police officers had to restrain me." Joe was sentenced to 30 years' jail and 24 strokes of the cane.
From this article, I learnt that we must not judge a book by its cover. What appears pleasing might not appear the same after some time. Joe deserved his punishment and I pity Madam Annie and her four daughters, I hope that she will be able to find another good husband and settle down.

It's 6 o' clock in the evening. I was walking home from the bus stop after training. When I walked past a HDB flast close to mine, I heard shouts from malay man, "Why you talk about cash?!Why you talk about cash?!Why must you talk about cash all the time???!!!" As curiosity got the better of me, I went closer to the source of the shouting. I saw the man shouting at a girl who's age seems to be close to his. The girl was on the floor, clutching her legs tightly and burying her face between them. Suddenly, the man turned around and his eyes matched mine, I quickly pretended that I just arrived and was walking past. Then, another young malay guy arrived under the flat in his motorcycle and begun talking to the couple. From here I observed that he should be the couple's friend or relative. After some advice from the friend, the boyfriend stopped shouting and offer his girlfriend a helping hand to help her up. She took it and the three left.
As I continued to walk home, I reflected on the word "cash" which the malay man was emphasizing earlier. I finially came to a conclusion that his girlfriend might have asked for cash quite a few times before and now when she asked again, he lost his temper as he may be facing some financial problems and yet his girlfriend is still asking for cash.
To sum it up, I think that all arguments, especially between couples, can come to a solution. But both parties must be calm and patient with one another, nothing is impossible. As long as you are willing to take back a step and the other party also backs, the problem will just be solved.
